A self-immolation bid by a school teacher even as the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister was on a tour of the district where she works has sent out shockwaves. Madhya Pradesh Chief Shivraj Chouhan was on the podium during a visit to Betul district of the state... when the school teacher doused herself with kerosene and lit the match right outside the venue. Bystanders stamped out the flames. She suffered minor injuries.
