Rajiv Pratap Rudy said, "All the party leaders have unanimously chosen Fadnavis as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra."

"Fadnavis also received the support of BJP party members like Pankaja Munde and Eknath Khadse," he said.

Rudy said that Fadnavis will now, along with elected BJP MLAs, go to the Governor and stake claim of government.
