Tragedy made worse by mismanagement on the employer's part. The family of Dehradun-based Avnish Petwal who died on duty on a merchant Navy ship he Captained still awaits the handing over of the deceased son's body. Though Chief Officer Avnish Petwal died on 23rd January, the Dubai based shipping company ORAM SHIPPING CO.,LTD is yet to arrange for the return of his body. Infact Avnish's family members including his distraught father are in Port Blair, pleading for the return of the young man's body but to no avail.
