Vishwaroopam row: Madras HC defers hearing

Even as losses on account of ban on Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam mount. The Madras High Court has postponed its order on the release of Kamal Haasan's film Vishwaroopam in Tamil Nadu until Tuesday. The verdict was due to be announced on Jan 28. While postponing the verdict, the court had also said that Kamal Haasan would have to meet government officials and find a way out of the crisis. Industry experts say that the delay in the screening of the film is likely to result in an estimated loss of Rs.30 crore.
