Delhi resident files defamation case against Shinde

Delhi Metropolitan Magistrate will hear a defamation case that has been filed against Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde for his remarks linking BJP and RSS to Hindu terrorism. The petition, filed by a Delhi resident V P Kumar through his counsel Monika Arora, said that the Home Minister had "wilfully" made the "derogatory" remarks to cause ill will and hatred among communities. Kumar in his petition alleged that Shinde's remarks were aimed at polarising minority votes for the 2014 general elections. The newly elected BJP President had come down crashing on Sushil Kumar Shinde's reckless remarks. The BJP President has questioned who Shinde wanted to benefit by tarring the biggest Opposition party with the terror brush.
