Shiv Charan calls Geetika 'servant' of Kanda, apologises - NewsX

The Haryana Minister who had sparked a controversy with his insensitive comments about suicide victim Geetika Sharma has tendered an apology. Now Shiv Charan Sharma, the minister says he was not talking about Geetika at all and that his words have been misinterpreted. He says he called Geetika a servant in the same manner as all govt employees are called govt servants. Sharma defends that Kanda suffered for the mistake of employing a wrong candidate. Earlier, this same Congress minister in Haryana's cabinet had called Geetika a servant of Gopal Kanda. The MDLR chief is in jail for allegedly abetting Geetika's suicide. Shiv Charan Sharma is the Minister for Labour and employment in Haryana. He was addressing a crowd at Sirsa at a function to celebrate Kanda's birthday.
