Amit Shah to meet Uddhav Thackeray in Mumbai
  • 5 years ago
The BJP's dismal performance in the byelections will cast a shadow on Shiv Sena-BJP equations in the run-up to the assembly elections, say observers.

BJP president Amit Shah arrived in Mumbai late on Tuesday and will take the final decision on the seat-sharing formula, it is learned.

On the other hand, Sena president Uddhav Thackeray has called an urgent meeting of party functionaries on Friday.

Shah will hold talks with the state BJP's core committee. Union minister for road transport Nitin Gadkari too will participate in the crucial parleys. It wasn't clear if Shah plans to meet Thackeray on Wednesday.
