Delhi gangrape: We were unsuccessful in saving her life, says TCA Raghavan - NewsX

The 23 year old Delhi braveheart, who waged a grim battle for life for 13 days after her brutal gangrape in Delhi on December 16th, has passed away in Singapore. Doctors at the Mount Elizabeth Hospital said she died peacefully at around 2:15 am Indian time. Late last night the doctors had announced that her vital organs had failed. And that she was sinking fast. Indian High Commissioner, or ambassador, T.C.A. Raghanvan told reporters that the scale of the injuries she suffered was "very grave" and in the end it "proved too much. He said arrangements are being made to take her body back to India.
