A dishonor killing was reported from a village in the Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh last night. The police said a man brutally killed his daughter Anju for having an affair with a villager Irfan. On Monday, finding the couple together at Irfan's pumping station, the suspect Jhallar Prasad started beating Anju with an iron rod. Irfan fled from the spot. Prasad chopped of his daughter's head. The police were informed of the crime only last night. A manhunt has been launched to for the accused.
