Delhi gangrape: Laws will be changed if needed, says Rashid Alvi - NewsX

Nearly a week since the horrific gangrape of a 23-year-old medical student in Delhi and the anger seems to be boiling over. Unprecedented scenes are being witnessed in the capital as police resorted to lathicharge and used water cannons and tear gas shells on protestors who tried to break barricades in Raisina Hill. Thousands of protestors gathered at India Gate in the morning and started moving towards Rashtrapati Bhawan raising slogans and demanding capital punishment for the rape accused, even protesting against the government's apathy and Delhi police's laxity.
