Newly-appointed Rajasthan Governor Kalyan Singh took oath of office in Jaipur on Thursday.

Singh, who arrived in Jaipur on Thursday morning, became the 20th Governor of Rajasthan.

Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik was holding the additional charge of Rajasthan before the appointment of Kalyan Singh.

Naik, who was given the additional charge of Rajasthan after Margaret Alva completed her term on August 5, was given a farewell by the Assembly Speaker Kailash Meghwal and state ministers on August 28.
