Gujarat polls: Sonia, Modi raises Sir Creek issue - NewsX

As Gujarat gears up to go for the second phase of polls on December 17, today is the last day for the candidates to campaign and woo the voters. Realising that time is of great essence, all the three major parties - that is the BJP, the GPP and the Congress have pulled out all fullstops on the last day of the campaign. Past the halfway mark and into its last leg, the Gujarat election campaign went high voltage on Friday as Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and chief minister Narendra Modi traded barbs over the Sir Creek issue.
