Day one saw England score 199 runs for the loss of 5 wickets at Stumps on the first day of the fourth Test at Nagpur. Matt Prior and debutante Joe Root steadied the innings after 5 blows and took England to close to 200 run-mark. Earlier, India managed to finally see the back of the dangerous Kevin Pietersen.
