Trainee IPS officer drowns at Police Academy party

A trainee Indian Police Service or IPS officer drowned in a swimming pool during a party at the National Police Academy in Hyderabad late last night.The officer, 30-year-old Manu Mukt Manav, was from Haryana. He attended a party at the Officer's Club inside the premises of the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy at Shivrampally to mark the completion of training last night along with other batchmates.
