SC verdict on Mulayam's plea regarding DA case today - NewsX

The Supreme Court will today pronounce its verdict on Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav and his family members' plea regarding a disproportionate assets case. The SP chief and his kin had asked for review of ithe SC's order for CBI probe against them for allegedly amassing disproportionate assets. The review petition had been filed by Mulayam Singh Yadav, his sons Akhilesh and Prateek and daughter-in-law Dimple. The apex court had ordered a CBI inquiry on March 1, 2007 into the alleged accumulation of disproportionate assets by Yadav family, on a PIL by an advocate, Vishwanath Chaturvedi, reportedly a Congress leader.
