In a stark reminder of the Amboli eve-teasing horror, a youth who tried to stop eve-teasing, was stabbed to death by another youth and four minor boys at a housing complex in Dombivli. Police said that on Monday night, 19 year-old Santhosh Vichivara was returning from work. He took a private bus to his Navneet Nagar complex from Dombivli station. Also aboard the bus was a girl who stays in his complex. Once they alighted, the five accused, targeted the girl with vulgar comments. An irked Santosh confronted the boys. At this, the boys attacked him and one of them took a knife and stabbed him repeatedly. The five have been arrested for murder and rioting. Four of the minors are expected to be produced in a juvenile court today.
