26/11 attacks: US court to sentence David Headley on Jan 17 - NewsX

After the hanging of Ajmal Kasab, the focus is now on David Headley, the other key accused in the 26/11 attack case. A Chicago court has decided that Headley will now be sentenced on January 17th. While his accomplice Tahawwur Rana's sentence will be pronounced on January 15th. He was originally slated to be sentenced on December 4th. The FBI had accused Headley of plotting against employees of a newspaper in Copenhagen and later of conspiring to bomb targets in Mumbai.
