The CAG has slammed defence procurements saying counter-trade obligations on foreign suppliers in mega defence deals has resulted in a lack of benefit worth nearly 3,500 crore rupees to Indian industry. The CAG also questions the conduct of the Army HQ ion the Mumbai land scam and slams diversion of cantonment land in Pune for commercial use by a private builder.
