Prime Minister Narendra Modi has greeted the people on the occasion of Rakshabandhan, which is being celebrated across the country today.

The Prime Minister said, "Greetings on the auspicious festival of Rakshabandhan."

Earlier, President Pranab Mukherjee and Vice President Hamid Ansari had also extended their greetings on the occasion of Rakshabandhan.

"I offer my greetings and good wishes to the citizens of our country on the auspicious occasion of Rakshabandhan," the Vice President had said.
