A man was assaulted publicly by four men in a Mumbai local train running from Churchgate to Dahanu road.

According to CCTV footage, the four men boarded the Mumbai local train at Boriwali station and suddenly started assaulting the victim, who was about to deboard from the train.

The victim, who was on his way to Bhayandar, was hit by the men on the pretext that he should have boarded the local for Virar or Bhayandar and not Dahanu.

Earlier, similar incidents have been witnessed in Mumbai trains. Some months back, a fight was witnessed among women in the ladies coach of the Mumbai suburban train. The ladies were seen slapping each other
