Despite all the awareness efforts across the country there are a lot of misconceptions about AIDS. In a very distressing incident a family in Jodhpur has been ostracised after the locality residents learnt that they were afflicted. For the last 3 days, the entire family including 4 children were forced to live on the platform. With no means to fend for themselves, they are forced to beg for a living. Neither the police nor the Jodhpur administration authorities are lending them a helpful ear.
