Russia has stepped in to condemn the fresh round of protests at the Kundankulam Nuclear Power Plant on Monday. The Russian Ambassador to India Alexander Kadakin hit at the NGO PMANE that is organizing protests in Kudankulam, saying the agitators are active again since foreign funds have started coming in. Russia's intervention on Kudankulam comes on the back of Russian President Vladimir Putin postponing his India visit to the first week of December. He was earlier scheduled to arrive on the first of November. Russian Deputy PM Dmitry Rogozin during his visit to India last week had openly expressed displeasure with Indian policies on Kudankulam and the Sistema.
