NewsX@9: Now, Whistleblower exposes land scam in Maharashtra

In a season of scandals its the newest one - Former Maharashtra top cop YP SIngh coming out firing against Sharad Pawar AND anti-corruption activitis Arvind Kejriwal and Anna Hazare. The crux of Singh's charges are this - that Sharad Pawar manipulated the rules to get the Maha govt to give 348 acres of land in Lavasa worth some 10,000 crore to the Lake City company for a paltry sum. Singh says Pawar's daughter Supriya Sule and her husband own 21% in Lake City and gained benefits of upto 1000 crore gains they appears to have disguised in the income tax declarations. Singh also says Ajit Pawar facilitated the scam and that Maha Rev Minister Narayan Rane helped cover it up. So we debate today - Are wild allegations the new political strategy?
