CBI to probe Ramdev's guru's disappearance - NewsX

Trouble might be brewing for Baba Ramdev. The Uttarakhand government has recommended a CBI inquiry into the case of Baba Ramdev's guru disappearing. Ramdev's spiritual guide and mentor - Swami Shankar Dev has been missing since 2007. What is interesting is that the police found a letter in his room in the Divya Yoga Mandir Trust...In the letter Swami Shankar Dev reportedly apologised to his colleagues for not being able to return the money he had borrowed from them. He added that he was not keeping well and was unhappy and had decided to leave. He was last seen in July 2007. It is alleged that Ramdev had a hand to play in his guru's disappearance. The Congress government in Uttarakhand's recommendation comes at a time when Ramdev has been seen attacking the party over graft allegations..
