The congress has come out batting for Rahul Gandhi yet again, a day after his statement that seven out of ten youth in Punjab were addicted to drugs. Congress spokesperson Manish Tewari launched an attack against the Shiromani Akali Dal - BJP government for not doing its job and checking the rising drug addiction among its youth. Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi had said that the state government had not shown any seriousness in tackling the problem.
