Haryana: Violence towards Dalits on rise - NewsX

Too many cases of violence and rape have been reported from Haryana. And what's worse is that most of the victims are Dalits and they are complaining of indifference by police due to the victim's Dalit caste. The women especially minor girls become easy prey for offenders who more than often get support from self-proclaimed feudalistic social orders. This is not the first instance of police indifference towards victims of caste violence in Haryana.
