Congress protests against government over prolonged power crisis

The Congress party is holding protests in Delhi against the prolonged power outages in the national capital. Earlier on Saturday too, Congress workers tried to break the barricade at the Nangloi railway station during a protest in Delhi. The police had to use water cannons to disperse the protesters.Congress leader Arvinder Singh Lovely was detained during the protest against the prolonged power crisis. DPCC chief spokesperson Mukesh Sharma, senior party leader Sajjan Kumar and a number of other Delhi Congress leaders were also detained from the protest site at the Nangloi Railway station.
