Hotels, restaurants, malls, cinema halls and shops across Delhi have to bear the brunt of incessant power outages in the city, with expensive alternate power sources adding to their costs. Running diesel generators for four to six hours every day is costing them dearly as backup power costs at least 40-50% more than the electricity supplied by various discoms.
