Kamal Nath to be Protem Speaker; Parliament Session from June 4-11: Naidu

The Union Cabinet-led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi met on Thursday and decided to conduct a brief session of Parliament from June 4 to 11. The Cabinet meet was held at around 11:30 am. Briefing the reporters, Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu confirmed that the first session of 16th Lok Sabha will be held between June 4 to June 11. Naidu said that former parliamentary affairs minister and senior Congress leader Kamal Nath will be the Protem Speaker, who will perform the duties of the office of the Speaker till the election of Speaker.
