Jharkhand: SC upholds cancellation of 5 mining leases - NewsX

The Supreme Court has upheld the cancellation order regarding mining leases of five mining companies in Jharkhand. The leases were cancelled by the Madhu Koda government. The companies had approached the High Court but did not get relief. They later went to the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has upheld the order of the state government which cancelled the leases.
