West Bengal: 9 injured in clash between CPM, TMC workers

Nine persons were injured today in a clash between workers of Trinamool Congress and CPI(M) in Hooghly district of Arambagh Lok Sabha constituency where polling will be held on Wednesday.

Police sources said that the victims of the clash that took place in Gaurhati area of Arambag in the district belonged to both the parties and two persons, including CPI(M) local leader Tarun Roy, were arrested. TMC district president Tapan Dasgupta alleged that a gang led by Tarun Roy were tearing the party's posters and banners.
