Vice-President election: Manmohan calls up Mamata, Bardhan

The Congress has a new Mamata Banerjee quandary on its hands. This time over the Vice Presidential race. After opposing Pranab Mukherjee's candidature for the Presidential polls, we now learn that Mamata and the TMC are not in favour of Hamid Ansari getting a second term as Vice President. Even as the Prime Minister reached out to Mamata to ensure she attends the UPA meet on the Vice Presidential race on Saturday. Mamata has decided to give it a miss sending Railway Minister Mukul Roy to represent the TMC at the meet instead.
