Ajit Singh evades questions on DGCA - NewsX

Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh evades questions on DGCA, Bharat Bhushan has been shunted out of the office, reportedly over differences with Ajit Singh. EK Bharat Bhushan was asked to move out from the post of Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), by the civil aviation minister, Ajit Singh. Instead a joint secretary in the ministry, Prashant Sukul has been asked to take charge. According to sources, Singh was furious with one-year extension given to Bhushan for additional charges as DGCA by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
