In the Naxal affected areas, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is conducting a special training programme to prepare girls to face Naxalites. In the training camp, the girls are coached in using guns, given lessons in karate and taught about combating tough situations.
To date, 70 girls have completed the training course, out of which 54 are from the Naxal affected areas of Latehar district.
