JNU students' union to take campaign against Modi to Varanasi

Calling it their 'responsibility' to challenge the 'manufactured debate' around BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, the JNU Students' Union (JNUSU) has decided to travel to Varanasi ahead of 12 May to campaign against him. The temple town, which had elected senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi in 2009, has attracted huge media attention ever since the BJP picked the seat to field Modi from Uttar Pradesh. Taking on Modi in Varanasi is Aam Admi Party's Arvind Kejriwal and Congress' Ajay Rai.
