His absence at the announcement of the BJP's presidential candidate has set tongues wagging. BJP brass was in full strength to announce its backing for PA Sangma as their presidential candidate. But It doesn't require a closer look to notice the conspicuous absence of the person meant to lead the BJP. Nitin Gadkari, who is poised to lead BJP for a second term in a row was nowhere in sight....even as BJP has decided to contest the president polls for the sake of contesting.
