On the campaign trail with Jayant Sinha

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers are resentful because the party did not renominate sitting MP Yashwant Sinha from Hazaribag Lok Sabha constituency. Party men feel giving a ticket to his first timer son Jayant Sinha will prove costly for BJP. Sinha was well known to all because of his personality and stature. His son will need time to fill his shoes.
BJP workers said if the party planned to field Jayant, this decision should have been taken earlier so that he got more time for poll preparations. They also felt when sitting MP's were asked to contest from their respective constituencies, there was no reason why Sinha's name was dropped.
