BJP's prime ministerial aspirant Narendra Modi arrived in Lakhmipur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh to address the election campaign rally.Received loud cheers and thunderous applause in greeting, he proceeded to greet the gathering and begin his speech.

Starting off by mocking Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, Modi said that 'Shehzada' did not know about neither the history or the tradition of India, and that the Gandhi scion could not see anything beyond his family. Accusing Rahul Gandhi of insulting Dr. Ambedkar day and night, Modi said that Babasaheb Ambedkar had given so much to the nation, but his vision could never become a reality due to the family politics of the Gandhis. Modi also said that Dr. Ambedkar had given freedom of speech, but asked who had taken away the freedom of speech of India's own Prime Minister, asking Sonia Gandhi for an answer.
