Authorisation for over 1600 Delhi's illegal colonies - NewsX

Heeding to the Delhi government's request, the Centre has given the go-ahead for regularising over 1600 unauthorised colonies in the city. This will be done by drawing the boundaries of these unathorised colonies on the basis of a satellite image of 2007. The Delhi Government said after fixing boundaries on the basis of images taken in 2007, it would forward the layout plan to the local body concerned. Simultaneously, the Delhi Government will also issue orders for regularising the colony as per the boundaries fixed after completing other formalities..
