Fire at Finance Ministry building in Delhi - NewsX

A major fire broke out at two rooms of the Finance Ministry's North Block office in New Delhi today. The fire broke out at around 5:45 am. Six fire tenders were immediately rushed to the spot. The fire was doused by 7 am. However, all files and furniture in the two rooms were gutted by then. "The cupboards, air conditioner and all records in the two rooms have been destroyed completely," said fire official Karamvir Singh Yadav.
