The bail plea of Jagan Mohan Reddy was rejected by court today. The bail plea first came up for hearing on Thursday, but the court deferred its decision on his bail plea till today. The same court had dismissed Jagan's bail plea earlier this week, and sent him to judicial custody till 11 June. Opposing his bail plea earlier this week, the CBI said that Jagan was the number one accused in the disproportionate assets case, involving the pilfering of public money, and added that if released on bail, he could tamper with evidence and influence witnesses.
