Nikon has entered the mirrorless market with two of it's point-and-shoot small-sensor cameras, the V1 and the J1. J1 is the entry-level model and is specially made for beginners upgrading from compact cameras or cameraphones, and who find the size and complexity of a DSLR daunting. It has a glossy front while the back has a black finish making it one classy camera. It is mostly made out of aluminum with magnesium alloy reinforced parts and is therefore heavier than you would think based on its size alone, weighing in at 234g for the body only. The effective pixel count at just 10.1 million. And with the new small sensors which measures 13.2 x 8.8mm, we have new lenses here. Camera shoots full HD 1080i videos at 60fps, full HD 1080p videos at 30fps and HD 720p clips at 60fps. It has interchangable lenses (10-30mm) and is priced at Rs. 29, 050.
