Minutes after the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) registered a complaint against National Conference leader (NC) and the Minister for Social Welfare, Sakina Itoo, for asking an elderly villager to swear by the Quran to support her, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah defended Itoo saying she was not threatening or abusing anyone.
"I have spoken to Sakina, this video was taken months before the election code. She isn't threatening anyone, she isn't abusing anyone," the chief minister tweeted.
