Leader Sabir Ali expelled from JD(U)

The Janata Dal United on Monday expelled party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sabir Ali for making "anti-party" comments.
Ali had recently praised Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party's prime ministerial candidate, in a statement.
Ali, whose tenure in the Upper House ends in April, was earlier denied a berth in the House by the party.
