Dr Chishti believes that he was discriminated by the authorities because of being a Pakistani. The Supreme Court has allowed Pakistan microbiologist, Dr Khalil Chisti, to go home to Pakistan. This comes a month after he was granted conditional bail by the court. The permission to go to Pakistan comes with riders for the 82 year old, who has been convicted for murder in India.
