Congress spokesperson Manish Tiwari has slammed BJP for its allegations against Home Minister P Chidambaram in the Aircel- Maxis deal. Tiwari, in a press conference, blamed BJP for sensationalizing the incidence. He further said that no justification will calm the BJP as they only want to rule.
According to sources Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Congress trouble shooter Pranab Mukherjee has given go-ahead to Home minister P Chidambaram to tackle opposition on allegations regarding Aircel-Maxis deal. Home Minister has rubbished all charges as wild and reckless, saying neither him nor his family has any stakes in Aircel. Earlier, Senior BJP leader Yashwant Sinha targeted P Chidambaram in the Lok Sabha over the Aircel-Maxis deal; dubbing it as a 'big scam', resulting in ruckus and pandemonium in the House.
