UP cop endorses honour killing - NewsX

A sign of the state of affairs in Uttar Pradesh, a U.P top cop has shockingly endorsed 'honor killings' in the state. His remarks have sparked off a furore, evoking sharp reactions. However, the ADG U.P police, distancing himself from the DIG's statement stopped short of promising any disciplinary action against the erring officer. NCW chairperson, Mamata Sharma has however lashed out at the DIG's statement.
