Vasundhara Raje is holding a meeting with her loyalists at her residence in Rajasthan. Meanwhile in Delhi, Arun Jaitely is in a meeting with former Rajasthan CM Om Mathur and National General Secretary Kiran Maheshwari in the Parliament. The BJP national leadership had summoned Leader of Opposition Vasundhara Raje to Delhi after she threatened to quit over senior leader Gulab Chand Kataria's proposed yatra. But the former Chief Minister has defied the summons. Kataria, an RSS-backed leader, eventually backed off but 42 Raje loyalists threatened to resign from the state assembly. Supporters of Raje also demanded that the party declare her as the chief ministerial candidate for the Assembly polls due next year.
