On the day of his party's humiliating performance in the assembly elections, Rahul Gandhi had promised to continue his work in Uttar Pradesh. Today, for the first time since the poll debacle, the Gandhi scion will be visiting his bastion of Amethi to introspect into what went wrong. Less than a couple of months after the disastrous party showing in the Uttar Pradesh assembly polls, the Gandhi scion will today be making his first visit to Amethi since the debacle. Rahuls' visit to Amethi is symbolic of a return to the roots in more ways than one, considering that it was the rout in the Gandhi bastion that perhaps hit 10 Janpath the hardest.
