Salaakhen: Key witness of Asaram rape case attacked in Surat

Asaram rape case: A key witness in the Asaram rape case was allegedly attacked by unidentified assailants in Surat city on Monday night. This is the second such incident to have happened in the recent past, after the husband of a complainant in a case involving Asaram's son Narayan Sai was assaulted by unknown persons few days ago.
According to the police, the 40-year-old witness in the case, Rakesh Patel, who has a video-shooting and photography business, was returning home in Paal locality, when two motorcycle-borne assailants intercepted his bike near his home.
